Visionary Artists

An American artist, born in 1953, Alex Grey specializes in spiritual and psychedelic art and is a Vajrayana practitioner. His work spans many forms including performance art, process art, installation art, sculpture, visionary art, and painting. Grey is a member of the Integral Institute. He and his wife Allyson Grey are the co-founders of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, a non-profit institution supporting Visionary Culture in New York City.

Andrew lives on Maui and is known for his tremendous photo-realism with detail to the point of being almost microscopic. His work is distributed through his own company, Annenberg Masterworks. His work is inspired by his fascination with the primal, the archetypal, the mythological, and the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece, and Atlantis.
